
Bears bang out 5-3 win over Norfolk

Mike Souza scores two goals to pace the BEARS to a 5-3 win against the Admirals. The win brings HERSHEY two points closer to a playoff spot in the East Division.
Eric Perrin scored just 57 seconds into the game to give the BEARS a 1-0 lead. Just 18 seconds later, Souza converted on a Perrin pass in front of the Norfolk net to lift HERSHEY to a 2-0 lead. The BEARS never trailed in the game and won for the 33rd time this season. The 33 wins matches last season's total with 16 games remaining in the regular season. Peter Budaj won his 26th game of the season, making 32 saves. Marek Svatos and Jeff Ulmer also tallied goals in the victory.
The BEARS travel to Springfield Wednesday to play the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. HERSHEY'S next home game is this Sunday when the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins visit GIANT Center at 5:00 p.m.
