
Beard Named WNBA Player of the Week

Washington, D.C. -Washington Mystics Guard Alana Beard was named the WNBA's Player of the Week for games played June 15 though June 21. Beard averaged 25.5 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game and 3.0 steals per game in contests against the Atlanta Dream and Chicago Sky. She also shot 59% from the field and 40% from the three point line.
Washington currently leads the Eastern Conference with a 4-1 record.
