Solar Bears Begin 10-Game Homestand

The Orlando Solar Bear are back on home ice tonight as they prepare to host the South Carolina Stingrays in three straight contests, beginning with tonight's match at 7 p.m. at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center. Tonight's game is also the first Ferg's Depot - Solar Bears Thirsty Thursday of the season. Fans can also purchase Thirsty Thursday tickets for as little as $14 in the lower bowl when they click here. Read more on all of the cool drink and food specials below!

Saturday's game at 7 p.m. is part of Teacher Appreciation Weekend along with Girl Scout Night and will also feature a canned food drive with United Against Poverty Orlando.

Orlando caps the weekend with a 1:30 p.m. game continuing Teacher Appreciation Weekend as part of Epilepsy Awareness night.

The Solar Bears will play 10 consecutive games in Orlando from now until December.

Single-game tickets for the 2016-17 season are on sale now and can be purchased for as little as $18 at the Amway Center Box Office or online at OrlandoSolarBearsHockey.com or Ticketmaster.com.

This season during Sunday home games, the first 100 FAIRWINDS members to show their FAIRWINDS debit or credit card, as well as their ID, at the ticket window for these games will score two free tickets for that night's game. Even if you're running a bit late, all FAIRWINDS members will receive a buy one, get one offer for that night's games once all the free tickets have been claimed.

FIRST FERG'S DEPOT - SOLAR BEARS THIRSTY THURSDAY TONIGHT!

Tonight's game is also the first Ferg's Depot - Solar Bears Thirsty Thursday! Visit Ferg's Depot on Church Street to take advantage of $2 Coors Light drafts before and after all Thursday home games, food specials and a FREE appetizer after the game (with game ticket) if the Solar Bears score the first goal! SOLAR BEARS SEEK TO RIDE MOMENTUM FROM RECORD-SETTING PERIOD

Last Saturday the Solar Bears set a new team record when they scored seven goals in the third period in Orlando's 8-5 win at Atlanta. The seven goals in a single period were the most by an ECHL team in over a decade!

The Orlando Sentinel's Steve Ruiz caught up with Coach Noreen and forward Cason Hohmann to recount the history-making effort and look ahead to this week's games against South Carolina.

Solar Bears visit Florida Hospital for Children

On Wednesday, Nov. 9, several Solar Bears players and SHADES visited Florida Hospital for Children, and met several young patients who helped them perform a #MannequinChallenge video!
