BC Lions Wrap-Up 2019 on Saturday with Visit from Stampeders
October 30, 2019 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
B.C. Lions News Release
(Vancouver) The BC Lions cap-off the 2019 regular season schedule with a West Division tilt versus the Calgary Stampeders at BC Place on Saturday night at 7:00 pm presented by Nissan.
Kids tickets presented by London Drugs are $10 per game and the popular $25 general admission Beach Party Zone is also available.
After a jackpot payout of $75,000 last game, the BC Lions 50/50 draw presented by Belairdirect is open to all fans across British Columbia - click here for more info.
With Remembrance Day two weeks away, the Lions are honoured to pay tribute to our armed forces personnel with Saturday's Salute to Veterans. Fans attending the game are encouraged to remain in their seats during halftime to acknowledge these distinguished men and women.
Game Preview
The Lions head into the final week of the 2019 regular season with significant motivation to make Saturday's game versus Calgary the first step in building a successful 2020 campaign. For veteran players and newcomers alike, there's a lot at stake with roster changes a likely part of the club's offseason efforts to improve.
Following a loss in Winnipeg last week, Calgary too will be coming into this weekend's season finale with plenty of steam as they find themselves in a precarious postseason position of their own. A win against the Lions means they'll host at least a Western Semi-Final next week; a loss means they'll be on the road back in Winnipeg for the first round of the playoffs.
It's obviously not the ending that the BC Lions had anticipated, but the lessons learned in 2019 could potentially be the cornerstone of a November to remember next year.
