
BC Lions Claim OL Jean-Simon Roy from Edmonton

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced that it has claimed national offensive lineman Jean-Simon Roy from Edmonton's practice roster.
Roy (6'3", 295) was Edmonton's second-round selection (14th overall) in the 2017 CFL Draft and appeared in three games for the Green and Gold over the past two seasons.
The Lions kick-off the 2019 regular season against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday, June 15 at 7:00 pm presented by Kal Tire. The first 5,000 fans through the gates receive a Mike Reilly bobblehead and the projected 50/50 jackpot is $50,000.
