Chesapeake Baysox News Release
BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today the Touch-A-Truck Event presented by Miss Utility at Prince George's Stadium Saturday, May 30 as the Baysox take on the Harrisburg Senators at 6:35 p.m. This all-new promotion will allow kids and adults to see, touch, interact with and learn about service, emergency and construction vehicles.
Starting at 4:30 p.m. until the start of the Baysox game at 6:35 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, fans will have the opportunity to see dozens of large trucks and other vehicles up close in the parking lot at Prince George's Stadium. The main stadium gates will open early at 5:00 p.m. that evening with the first 500 kids ages 3-12 receiving a Touch-A-Truck T-Shirt courtesy of Miss Utility.
Baysox Assistant General Manager Phil Wrye helped organize this event. "The whole family will enjoy being able to experience in person the types of large construction, emergency and service vehicles that are normally limited to children's books," Wrye said. "We have partnered with Miss Utility to bring out some of the most impressive machines around and it's going to be a very unique experience for our fans."
Tickets for the Baysox Touch-A-Truck special event and baseball game Saturday, May 30 are on sale now at www.baysox.com or by calling the Baysox Ticket Office at 301-464-4865.
