BOISE, Idaho, January 17, 2013 - Carlon Brown had 21 points and six rebounds and Sean Evans collected another double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, but the Idaho Stampede lost to the Erie BayHawks 104-89. Coby Karl had 18 points, four assists and four rebounds for Idaho (6-16).
The Stampede bench was outscored 50-21 and the home team shot just 38.6 percent from the floor, getting outscored 33-22 in the fourth quarter. Mike Singletary led the way for Erie with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Tirrell Baines and Erik Daniels each added 17 points, six rebounds off the bench. Erie (11-8) made 9-of-19 three-pointers and 21-of-26 free throws, while they turned it over just 11 times. Idaho committed 18 turnovers, which led to 25 points for the BayHawks.
Justin Holiday had nine points, five rebounds and three blocks and Justin Harper added six points and eight rebounds off the bench. There were 15 lead changes and 12 times tied in the game, all of which came in the first three quarters - after three, the Stampede trailed just 71-67. Idaho allowed Erie to make 12-of-20 shots in the final quarter, including 3-of-5 from three-point land, while they made just six field goals in the last 12 minutes.
