Mobile BayBears News Release
After five days in Huntsville the BayBears are back in Mobile starting Sunday, August 18th for a seven game series against the Jackson Generals. Within a five-day span the teams will play seven games, two seven-inning doubleheaders, due to the rain outs from the previous Generals series in Mobile. Game one of the doubleheader is on Monday, August 19th at 5:05 p.m. and will resume the suspended game on Tuesday, August 6th from the 4th inning. The second doubleheader will be on Wednesday, August 21st starting at 5:05 p.m.
WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS SERIES:
Sunday, August 18 (5:05 p.m.) - Bay B. Bear's Birthday. We will be celebrating our mascot Bay B. Bear all day with cupcakes, games and prizes. It is also Play Catch on the Field Sunday, so come on down and enjoy a summer evening before school starts.
Monday, August 19 (5:05 p.m.) - Doubleheader and Star Wars Night. We will resume the game started on Tuesday, August 6th in the 4th inning and then play another seven inning game directly after. The Hank will go back to a galaxy far far away and Star Wars will take over.
Tuesday, August 20 (7:05 p.m.) $1 Hot Dog Night and Subway Two for Tuesday. Come on down to the ballpark and enjoy the best baseball on the Gulf Coast with $1 hot dogs all night long. Head to your local Subway for two free tickets to the last Tuesday night game of the season!
Wednesday, August 21 (5:05 p.m.) Doubleheader and Fans Run the Show. Game one of the doubleheader is the makeup from the second game of the doubleheader that was rained out on Tuesday, August 6. Both games will be seven innings. Ever wanted to be a part of a BayBears game? Now is your chance. We are letting the fans make the decisions during the game.
Thursday, August 22 (7:05 p.m.) - Karaoke Night and Thirsty Thursday. Show off your voice at Hank Aaron Stadium. We will open up the mic and turn the video board into a karaoke machine. It is also Thirsty Thursday and we will have drink specials from 6-8 p.m.
Take advantage of the summer while you still can and come out and enjoy BayBears baseball.
