
Bautista and Maholm added to Futures Game rosters/Sharpless to D.L.

Altoona Curve 3B Jose Bautista and LHP Paul Maholm have been named as replacements for the Major League All-Star Futures Game, which will be held next Sunday, July 10th, at Comerica Park in Detroit. Bautista, a native of the Dominican Republic, will play for the World Team, while Maholm will pitch for the U.S. team.
Pitchers Zach Duke and Ian Snell had originally been selected to represent the Pirates' organization at the Futures Game, but both are currently with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
In other Curve news on Sunday, right-handed pitcher Josh Sharpless has been placed on the Disabled List with soreness in his right elbow. No other move has been announced as of Sunday afternoon.
