Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announced today that infielder Victor Mercedes has been activated from the Disabled List. Mercedes will be available to the Senators for Sunday's 6:05 P.M. game at home against Trenton.
Mercedes was placed in the D.L. with a right foot contusion on June 26th. He has appeared in 16 games with Harrisburg and is batting .238 on 10-42 at the plate with 0 home runs and 1 RBI.
It was also announced that Jocobo Sequea has been placed on the Temporarily Inactive List. Sequea left the team due to a death in the family.
The Senators roster remains at 22 active players, one below the maximum allowed by the Eastern League.
