Bats To Wear Camouflage Jerseys June 12

Louisville, KY - The Louisville Bats players and coaching staff will wear special camouflage jerseys on Tuesday, June 12 when they take on the Rochester Red Wings that night beginning at 7:05 p.m. The jerseys will then be auctioned off at the Bats website, www.batsbaseball.com, for one week following the game.

The proceeds of the auction will benefit the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides free college scholarship grants, along with financial aid and educational counseling, to the children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps Special Operations personnel who were killed in an operational mission or training accident.

Also that evening, the US Army will give away two non game-worn jerseys to fans who have registered for the giveaway at the US Army table that night on the concourse at Louisville Slugger Field. For more information on the Special Operations Warrior Fund, visit www.specialops.org.
