Modesto, CA. - After scoring just one run in their previous three games, the Modesto Nuts blew up the Stockton Ports in an 8-1 win on Monday night at John Thurman Field to snap a three-game skid.

The Nuts (2-3; 28-47) had just 12 hits in the previous three games but broke out for 15 knocks on Monday night. The offense started in the fourth with six hits and three Ports' (3-2; 30-45) errors to help plate five runs. Max White had a RBI single. He would add a solo homer in the eighth. Josh Fuentes drove in a run with an infield single. Omar Carrizales capped the scoring with a RBI single to left. Ports' leftfielder Joe Bennie mishandled the base hit allowing Luis Jean to score.
