
Barons, BayBears Postponed in Series Opener

MOBILE, Ala. - The series opener between the Birmingham Barons (24-36) and Mobile BayBears (22-36) was postponed due to rain Friday night.
The two sides will resume play with a doubleheader Saturday night at Hank Aaron Stadium as Barons right-hander Lincoln Henzman (0-0, 9.53) is expected to oppose BayBears right-hander Jeremy Beasley (2-3, 3.40).
First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast via WJOX-AM 690.
Coverage will begin at 4:50 p.m. with the Coca-Cola Pregame Show.
