Barnstormers, Road Warriors Double Header Rained Out

LANCASTER, Pa.-The Atlantic League double header between the Lancaster Barnstormers and the Road Warriors scheduled for Wednesday, September 7 has been postponed due to poor field conditions caused by steady rains throughout the day.

Game 1 of Wednesday's double header will be made up as part of a double header on Thursday, September 8 with two seven inning games, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Game 2 of Wednesday's double header will be made up as part of a double header with two seven inning games on Sunday, September 18. Game 1 will start at 1:30 p.m., and gates will open at 12:30 p.m.

Tickets to the postponed double header on September 7 can be exchanged at the Faulkner Chevrolet box office for tickets to the double header on September 8 or for any other remaining regular season game in 2011, based on availability.

All-you-can-eat tickets for Wednesday's game can be exchanged for tickets to the next all-you-can-eat Fan vs. Food event on Wednesday, September 14.

Thursday is Ladies Night, presented by Lancaster General Health and Smart Health for Women. The first 100 ladies through the gates will be invited to an exclusive reception in the Wheatland Suite with a cooking demonstration from an executive chef of Yankee Stadium. The first 1,500 ladies will receive tote bags, courtesy of Lancaster General Health. Friday's game will feature a bobble head t-shirt giveaway for the first 1,000 fans 16 and older, presented by Capital BlueCross.
