DES MOINES, IA. - In reaction to the developing news of a labor dispute between the Arena Football League's players and owners, Iowa Barnstormers team President Jeff Lamberti has released the following statement:

"At this point in time a new agreement between the AFL and the players union has not been reached, however we currently have a full roster of 24 players under contract. It is our hope that the players honor the agreement that they signed and it is our intent to play a full 18 game regular season schedule with the roster we have under contract."

Specific details of the dispute have not been released to the public, however representatives from both sides agree that it is their best interest to come to a reasonable conclusion as soon as one can be reached.
