Barnstormers Announce Playoff Opponent

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Barnstormers in conjunction with af2 have announced that they will host the Manchester wolves in the first round of the 2009 ArenaCup playoffs. The game will take place this Friday night, July 31 at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield Field in Des Moines. Kick off for the game is scheduled for 7:05pm. The Midwest Division Champion Barnstormers enter the game with a record of 12-4 and are the #2 seed in the af2's American Conference. Manchester enters the game as the #7 seed in the American Conference, ending the season with a record of 7-9. This will be the first ever matchup between the two teams.
