
Bark in the Park & a Balancing Act Headlines Homestand

SALISBURY, Md. - The Delmarva Shorebirds, Class-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, are undefeated at home so far this season! The 'Birds return home for a pair of four game series against the Lakewood BlueClaws (affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies) from 4/19-4/22 and the Kannapolis Intimidators (affiliate of the Chicago White Sox) 4/23-4/26. The homestand includes exciting promotions including Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act, Scout Night, fireworks, a college baseball game, and the first Bark in the Park.
The homestand starts on Thursday, April 19th with KISS 95.9 Thirsty Thursday, presented by University Village at Salisbury. Enjoy 16 oz. cans of Miller Lite and Coors Light; as well as, 16 oz. Pepsi fountain drinks for $2. The Shorebirds will be rocking their Maryland Pride Thursday jerseys so show your support by sporting your Maryland Pride gear! Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM.
Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act comes to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium on Friday, April 20th. Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act is a high-energy, unique performance that consists of Tyler Scheuer balancing wheelbarrows, bikes, ladders, and more on his face all while dancing to music and engaging the crowd. You may have seen him on America's Got Talent, Ripley's Believe It or Not, or Regis and Kelly. Fans over 21 years of age can enjoy Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday with $6 32 oz. Miller Lite and Coors Light drafts. The Shorebirds will also be unveiling their new Orange Friday jerseys. Show your support by wearing your orange too! First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM with gates set to open at 6:00 PM.
Dr. Vickers at Seaside Smiles presents Scout Night on Saturday, April 21st along with a fantastic Q105 Fireworks show after the game. Gates are set to open at 4:00 PM for fans to watch Shorebirds batting practice. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
The first Historically Black College and University (HBCU) classic at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium will take place on Sunday, April 22nd with Maryland Eastern Shore's baseball team facing off against Delaware State University after the Shorebirds take on the Lakewood BlueClaws. After the Shorebirds game and prior to the HBCU Classic, kids can run the bases, presented by Chili's Grill & Bar. Every Sunday home game is a Perdue Strike Out Hunger Sunday. Fans can bring two canned food items to the Shorebirds box office and receive an upper reserved ticket for $3. All collected items are donated to the local area food banks. Gates open at 1:00 PM with first pitch scheduled for 2:05 PM.
The Kannapolis Intimidators come into town on Monday, April 23rd with 47 ABC 2 Buck Monday, presented by Wicomico Heating & Air Conditioning. Fans can enjoy $2 upper reserved tickets, $2 hotdogs, and $2 16 oz. fountain Pepsi products. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM with gates opening at 6:00 PM.
Tuesday, April 24th is the first Bark in the Park night of the season, presented by Johnson-McKee Animal Hospital. Make sure to bring your four legged friend out to the Shorebirds game! Dogs get in free with a donation to the Humane Society of Wicomico County. Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM.
Wednesday, April 25th is part of the Silver Sluggers membership for Shorebirds fans 55 and up, presented by Peninsula Home Care. Silver Sluggers can play Baseball Bingo and win prizes, as well. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM with gates opening at 6:00 PM.
The homestand concludes on Thursday, April 26th with the second Field of Dreams Day, presented by Chesapeake Health Care. April 26th is also another Maryland Pride Thursday. Gates open at 9:00 AM with first pitch scheduled for 10:35 AM.
