Baltimore Blast: 4-2. Second place in the Eastern Division. Harrisburg Heat: 1-4 Fourth place in the Eastern Division. Baltimore Players to Watch: The Blast are looking to continue their unbeaten home record since settling in at SECU Arena. Midfielder Jonatas Melo currently leads all Blast players in assists (7) and points scored (11), which ranks fourth and eighth in the league respectively. Forwards Andrew Hoxie and Juan Pereira will lead the Blast attack with four goals each, while Forward/Midfielder Josh Hughes has accumulated the third most points on the team.
Defender Adriano Dos Santos is off to a hot start, scoring four goals, which is tied for first on the team. Two Time Team of the Week selection William Vanzela ranks fifth among all MASL goalkeepers in goals allowed average (4.14), fourth in save percentage (.731) and will command a stout backline that has recorded the fifth best Goals Allowed per Game Average in the MASL
The Blast will be without Lucas Roque and Daniel Peruzzi as they recover from their knee injuries and Elton de Oliveira is questionable with a hamstring injury. The Blast are coached by Head Coach Danny Kelly and Assistant Coach David Bascome. The Competition

Saturday will kick off the "Battle of I-83" series between the Blast and Heat. Former Blast captain and defender Pat Healey and former Blast GM Kevin Healey will return to face the Blast and head coach and GM of the Heat respectively. Ricardo Carvalho leads the Harrisburg Heat in points, goals, and assists through the first five games this season, proving to be Harrisburg's most dangerous player. Carvalho also leads the Eastern Division with 2.5 Points per Game, which also ranks 5th in the MASL. Midfielder Dominic Francis will play alongside Carvalho in a partnership that has yielded 16 points in the team's first five games.
Former Blast defender Nelson Santana has contributed four points to his new team while also recording five shots blocked, which is most on the Harrisburg Heat. Forwards Daniel Villela and Tavoy Morgan form a strike partnership that combines for nine points on the season. Harrisburg is coached by former Blast player Pat Healey and Assistant Coach Gino Diflorio.
