Amarillo, TX - The Laredo Lemurs (39-33) took a 7-6 lead but could not hold on as the Amarillo Sox (39-30) scored five runs over the seventh and eighth to open up the three games series with an 11-7 win at Amarillo National Banks Sox Stadium Friday night.

The Lemurs would take the 7-6 lead in the top of the seventh by picking up five straight hits, scoring three runs, scaring Sox starter Joe Newby from the game.
