B-Sens Finally On A Roll As They Shutout Out Phantoms For Third In A Row

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - In their fifth straight game on the road, the Binghamton Senators managed to post their third straight win for the first time in the 2009-2010 season as they went on to shutout the Adirondack Phantoms 1-0.

Brandon Svendsen scored his seventh goal of the season at 5:12 of the second, earning the lone goal in the game. Kaspars Daugavins assisted.

Goaltender Chris Holt continued his hot streak, having manned the pipes now for all three B-Sens victories in the streak. Holt made 25 saves to earn his fourth shutout on the season.

The B-Sens return home tomorrow to host the Syracuse Crunch at 5:05 p.m. Clifford the Big Red Dog will make an appearance courtesy of WSKG. It is also Hall of Fame night, as Daniel Lacroix and Tom Mitchell are inducted into the Binghamton Hockey Hall of Fame in a special pre-game ceremony. Tickets are $17.75 for side seating, $16.75 for end seating.
