B-Sens Announce Roster Moves

Binghamton Senators News Release


BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled forward Ludwig Karlsson from their East Coast Hockey League affiliate the Elmira Jackals. They also announced they have assigned defenseman Troy Rutkowski and forward Jakub Culek to the Jackals.

Karlsson has played in two games this season for Elmira, registering his first professional goal last night in the Jackals 3-1 loss to the Reading Royals. The 6-3, 200 pound Stockholm, Sweden native signed a two-year entry level contract earlier this year. Playing two seasons for Northeastern of the Hockey East, Karlsson skated in 49 games registering 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists).

Rutkowski has appeared in four games this year with Binghamton, recording his first professional goal on October 20 versus Bridgeport in a 6-5 overtime win. Culek has skated in two contests thus far with the B-Sens registering no points.
