LAST GAME: The Binghamton Mets scored seven unanswered runs, all with two outs, and got five shutout innings from the bullpen en route to a 7-2 win over the Erie SeaWolves on Tuesday night at NYSEG Stadium. Matt Clarkblasted a tiebreaking two-run homer in the fourth and Darrell Ceciliani drove in a B-Mets' season-high three runs using a pair of doubles. Cody Satterwhite tossed 2.1 shutout innings to earn his first win of the season. Adam Kolarek and Jon Velasquez combined for 2.2 blank innings to secure the series-opening victory.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Matt Bowman makes his Double-A debut tonight. He split last season between Savannah (Low-A) and St. Lucie (High-A) going 10-4 with a 3.04 ERA between both levels. Selected in the 12th round of the 2012 Draft by the Mets out of Princeton University, he is entering his third year in the organization. He was the Sand Gants Opening Day starter in 2013 and was named a Florida State League Postseason All-Star.

ERIE STARTER: RHP Jeff Ferrell also makes his Double-A debut tonight for the SeaWolves. The North Carolina native spent last year with the Lakeland Flying Tigers (High-A), going 6-6 with a 4.00 ERA in 25 games (19 starts). Ferrell was selected in the 26th round of the 2010 Draft by the Tigers out of Pitt Community College (NC). He reached Low-A in 2011 before undergoing Tommy John surgery in May of that year. He returned to West Michigan (Low-A) in May 2012 and finished the season with a 7-5 record in 16 starts.

GETTING THE GROOVE: B-Mets 1B/DH Matt Clark has gone 6-for-9 in his last two games. The California native launched Binghamton's first home run of the season on Tuesday, a towering shot beyond the right-centerfield fence off reliever Nick Avila in the fourth inning.

EXTRA, EXTRA: 42% of Binghamton's hits (16 of 38) have gone for extra-bases, the highest ratio in the Eastern League. Matt Clark leads the charge with three doubles and Binghamton's only home run. Wilfredo Tovarand Darrell Ceciliani each own one triple.

BACK IN THE SATT-LE: B-Mets reliever Cody Satterwhite collected his first win of the season with 2.1 scoreless innings on Tuesday. A former Tigers farmhand, it was Satterwhite's first Double-A victory since he earned the win as a member of the Erie SeaWolves on July 23, 2009.

OFFENSE ROLLING ALONG: After being held to seven runs on 16 hits in their first three games of the season, the B-Mets offense has ripped opposing pitching to the tune of 12 runs on 22 hits in their last two games. Binghamton is hitting .314 as team in the last two games.

TWO-OUT MAGIC: Binghamton scored all seven runs of their runs last night with two outs. 16 of their last 18 runs scored in the previous four games have come with two outs.

SERIES SWEEP: The B-Mets have a chance to sweep the SeaWolves in this rain-shortened two-game series. The B-Mets have not swept the SeaWolves since August 29 - September 1, 2011 when they took all four games at Jerry Uht Park.

DOUBLE TROUBLE: Tuesday night marked the third time this season the B-Mets have collected four doubles in one game. The B-Mets racked up four doubles or more 17 times last year.

OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOT: A victory tonight would secure Binghamton's first season-opening winning homestand since 2010, when they went 4-3 against Akron and Erie.

NEXT GAME PREVIEW: The B-Mets head out for their first road trip of the season. They start a four-game series against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Thursday night at 6:35 PM at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. LHP Darin Gorski makes his second start of the year against RHP Austin Bibens-Dirkx.
