LAST GAME: The B-Mets suffered their eighth one-run loss, falling 2-1 against Altoona Friday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Binghamton got a solo home run from Josh Rodriguez, his tenth, in the first inning, but were held off the board afterwards. The B-Mets were held hitless in their final 15 at-bats, going 0-for-8 with men in scoring position. Rehabber Bobby Parnell took the loss, allowing the go-ahead run in the seventh inning. Michael Fulmer took a no-decision in the start, surrendering a single run in his six frames.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Robert Gsellman makes his first career start with Binghamton. The righty began the year with St. Lucie (High-A), going 6-0 with a 1.76 ERA in eight starts. He has a career 2.69 ERA in 65 appearances within the Mets organization. He allowed three runs in seven inning against Dunedin in his last outing, six days ago. Opponents hit .204 against Gsellman in the Florida State League. He's 7-0 with a 1.61 ERA since August 23, 2014 (nine starts).

ALTOONA STARTER: RHP Jason Creasy makes his tenth start of the year and the first of his career against Binghamton. He's coming off back-to-back wins, allowing three runs in six innings pitched against New Hampshire last time out. He has allowed one earned run or fewer in five of nine starts. He has pitched to a 1.96 ERA in four home starts. Righties are batting .314 against the starter. Creasy is 7-0 with a 2.86 ERA since August 21, 2014 (11 starts).

TOUGH MONTH: Binghamton needs to win the final two games of the series to avoid their first losing month since August, 2012, when they went 15-16. The B-Mets are currently 13-15 in the month of May.

OUT-HIT: Binghamton has lost their last seven games when getting out-hit. Their last win when getting out-hit was May 9th. Binghamton is 5-16 overall when getting out-hit, and 20-7 when they don't.

SLUGGISH OFFENSE: Binghamton is averaging 2.5 runs over their last 12 games, going 4-8. Binghamton has scored fewer than three runs in six of those 11 games, including their last three.

SHINING STAR: Gavin Cecchini is batting .341 over his last 11 games, going 15-for-44 with two home runs. He has registered multiple hits in back-to-back games for the first time since August 1-2, 2014.

RISP STRUGGLES: The B-Mets are batting .114 (5-for-44) with men in scoring position over their last six games (1-5).

POWER TRIP: Josh Rodriguez hit his 10th home run of the season Friday night. It was the fastest to his 10th home run in his 10-year career, taking 43 games. He had 11 home runs all of last season, not hitting number 10 until his 90th game (July 19).

ONE RUN: Binghamton played in their 21st one-run game Friday, dropping to 13-8 in such games. The B-Mets are tied with Harrisburg and Akron for most one-run games. The B-Mets have three more one-run wins than any other team.

WALK THIS WAY: Binghamton has drawn fewer than three walks in four of their last five games. The B-Mets have walked 11 total times in the five games.

ROAD STRUGGLES: The B-Mets are 2-6 in their last 8 road games, being held to fewer than three runs in four of the last five.

MIDDLE GAMES: B-Mets are 11-8 in middle games of series this year.
