LAST GAME: The B-Mets matched a season-high with twelve runs and pounded out a dozen hits, including six for extra-bases, in a 12-2 rout of the Erie SeaWolves last night at Jerry Uht Park. Binghamton took the lead from wire-to-wire, jumping on starter Kelvin De La Cruz for two runs in the first and adding four more in the fourth. They blew the game open with six runs on six hits against reliever David Kopp in the sixth. Wilmer Floresdrove in two and scored twice in a three-hit game. Eric Campbell reached base safely three times and drove in three runs. Jefry Marte matched a B-Mets season-high with three runs scored. Darin Gorskiearned his third win in the month of June, firing six shutout innings. After navigating around three hits and a walk in the first two innings, the lefty faced just two over the minimum in his final four frames.

STARTING PITCHING MATCHUP: RHP Greg Peavey (3-3, 5.22) makes his 13th start of the season and second against the SeaWolves. The righty had gone winless in this last four starts, dropping his last game against the Altoona Curve on June 17. He allowed seven runs (four earned) on eight hits over five innings. He struck out a season-low one batter and walked two. Peavey's last win came against the Portland Sea Dogs on May 20. The Washington native made his Double-A debut against Erie on April 9. He earned the win with 5.2 scoreless innings. He surrendered just two hits and struck out five.

RHP Patrick Cooper (1-0, 3.61) makes his tenth appearance with the SeaWolves this season and fourth start. He earned his first career Double-A win in his previous start, defeating the New Britain Rock Cats on June 17. He allowed just three hits and struck out four over six shutout innings, his longest appearance with Erie. Cooper started the season with the Lakeland Flying Tigers (High-A) before getting promoted to join the SeaWolves bullpen on April 12. He has three stints with Erie this season. The Kentucky native went 1-0 with a 2.53 ERA in five relief appearances with Lakeland. Cooper as selected in the 14th round of the 2010 draft out of Bradley University.

LIGHTING UP THE SCOREBOARD: The B-Mets matched a season-high with 12 runs scored last night, a feat performed twice before. It the most runs Binghamton has scored against Erie since they defeated the club 13-8 on July 24, 2010.

BIG INNING: The B-Mets broke the game open with a six-hit, six-run sixth inning. It was the most runs scored in one inning for Binghamton since they plated nine runs in the second against the Trenton Thunder on May 17.

TURNING AROUND IN JUNE: After going 0-3 with a 7.58 ERA in three starts in May, B-Mets starter Darin Gorski has turned things around in June. The lefty has gone 3-1 with a 3.20 ERA in the month with just three walks in 25.1 innings.

WELCOME ABOARD: Newcomer Wilfredo Tovar provided his first hit as a B-Met last night, tripling home two runs in the third inning. Tovar, Wilmer Flores and Francisco Pena all arrived from St. Lucie on June 21. All three of their first hits have driven in runs.

BUMPY DEBUT: Reliever Jeff Stevens made his B-Mets debut last night after getting transferred from the Buffalo Bisons (AAA) on Monday. The righty tossed a scoreless seventh inning before allowing one run on three hits while recording two outs in the eighth.

RIGHT AT HOME: Dating back to last season, the B-Mets have won seven of their last eight games against the SeaWolves at Jerry Uht Park. Binghamton capped their visit to Erie last season by sweeping a four-game series. The B-Mets are 34-31 all-time in Erie.

CAMPBELL KILLING IT: B-Mets first baseman Eric Campbell reached base safely three times last night, raising his league-leading on-base percentage to .440.
