Aviators v. Grizzlies Game Suspended After 10th Due to Rain with Score Tied 2-2

The final game of the series between the Rockford Aviators and the Gateway Grizzlies was suspended after 10 innings due to rain with score tied 2-2 at GCS Ballpark in Sauget, IL. Since this was Rockford's final trip to GCS Ballpark this season, the game will be resumed when the teams meet in their next series at Aviators Stadium in Loves Park, IL July7-9.

Starter Kyle Brueggemann turned in another fine outing for the Aviators, as he held the Grizzlies to just one earned run in seven innings, yielding just six hits with no walks and seven strikeouts. Counterpart Tyler Thompson also allowed just two runs on nine hits with two walks and two strikeouts during his 6.2 innings stint. Brian Bistagne had three of the Aviators twelve hits while Devon Rodriguez had two hits including, including an RBI double in the first.
