Max White robbed Eberle of a hit in the 9th with two on and two outs to end the game.

For Starters Game One...

Cody Gray makes his second career start tonight for the Freedom and his first on the road. Gray picked up a no-decision in his first pro start on June 20, a 6-4 win for Florence. He went four innings, giving up three runs on four hits. Gray walked three and struck out two. A product of NAIA school Northwood University, Gray went 8-3 in 12 starts in 2015, finishing with an ERA of 1.69. Impressively, Gray struck out 101 batters in 85 innings. In 2014 Gray appeared in seven games, picking up five wins. Also struck out 37 batters in 42.2 innings as a starter. Named a Preseason All-American pitcher.

For Starters Game Two...

Tony Vocca makes his 15th appearance and his second start of the season for the Freedom. Vocca made a spot start against Lake Erie on June 17, getting a no-decision in 3.2 innings of work, allowing one run on four hits in an eventual 6-3 win for Florence. His most recent outing was out of the bullpen on June 24 against Washington, tossing an inning of shutout ball. Vocca has held opponents to one run over his past 13.1 innings pitched. A native of Cottonwood, Arizona, USA, Vocca played his college ball first at Yavapai College, then the University of Utah and later for Minnesota State University-Mankato. He posted a 12-8 record and 5.21 ERA over the course of his four-year college career, also tallying 125 strikeouts in 140 innings pitched. In 2013, after his college days were over, Vocca pitched for the Prescott Montezuma Federals of the Freedom Pro Baseball League, a four-team independent league based out of Arizona. Vocca spent this past winter pitching for the Adelaide Bite of the Australian Baseball League.

Of No-Hitters and Men...

The Freedom face Travis Tingle in game one today. He no-hit Florence twice last season. Once in a five-inning rain shortened game in Crestwood, the other in a seven-inning double header contest in Florence.

Let's play two!

This is the first double header due to a postponed game for the Freedom this season. They've played two scheduled double headers at home, compiling a record of 1-3 so far in twin bills. They won their most recent DH game against Washington when Casey Henn threw a no-hitter.

Away from home...

The Freedom won their most recent road series against the Lake Erie Crushers, taking two of three. It was their first road series win of 2015. Florence currently is 4-9 away from home. They dropped two of three to Gateway and River City and got swept by Evansville earlier this season. Last year Florence won only two road series.

Walk it out...

The Freedom have drawn 147 walks, the most in the league.

Run this way...

The Freedom's 71 stolen bases this season are the most in the Frontier League. However they have also been caught stealing 28 times, the most in the league as well.

Glovework...

The Freedom's fielding percentage of .982 is the best in the Frontier League.
