Avalanche Reassign Forward Rocco Grimaldi

SAN ANTONIO- The Colorado Avalanche announced that forward Rocco Grimaldi has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

Grimaldi, 23, made his Colorado Avalanche debut Saturday night in their game against the Dallas Stars. He recorded three shots on goal, a hit, and two blocks in eight minutes of ice time. He rejoins the Rampage in a tie with A.J. Greer for the most points on the team, registering six goals and nine assists through 19 games. Grimaldi is currently tied for San Antonio's franchise record for most points in a single game, tallying a five-point contest on Dec. 26, 2014 against the Texas Stars.

The Rampage wrap up their second back-to-back series against the San Jose Barracuda this afternoon at 3 p.m. CT at the AT&T Center. All Rampage games can be heard on Ticket 760 and SARampage.com .
