Forward Teddy Purcell Assigned to Reign

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have activated forward Andy Andreoff from injured reserve, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today. To make room on the 23-man roster, Teddy Purcell, who cleared waivers this morning, has been assigned to Ontario (AHL).

Purcell, 31, earned two assists in 12 games with the Kings. The St. John's, Newfoundland, native has skated in 571 career NHL games with the Kings, Florida Panthers, Edmonton Oilers and Tampa Bay Lightning adding 101 goals and 206 assists for 307 points. He last skated in the AHL with the Manchester Monarchs during the 2008-09 season.
