
Austin Toros Finalize Trade with Reno Bighorns

Austin, TX February 22, 2013 -The Austin Toros today announced they have acquired guard Dontell Jefferson in a trade deal sending Aubrey Coleman to the Reno Bighorns. The team subsequently deactivated Jefferson for personal reasons.
Jefferson (6-5, 195 Arkansas) played 12 games with Reno this season averaging 3.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and two assists in 15.4 minutes. Jefferson's professional experience is extensive, his career began in 2006 with the NBA D-League Dakota Wizards, he played in six games with the Charlotte Bobcats (2008-09), has played overseas as well as with the Idaho Stampede and Sioux Falls Skyforce. He completed his collegiate play at Arkansas, leading the team in assists his senior year.
Fans can watch the Toros tonight in game two of back-to-back games against Iowa on NBADLeague.com powered by YouTube at 7:00pm Central. The Toros-Energy series moves to Cedar Park Center this Sunday, February 24.
