
Austin Spurs Acquire Brandon Randolph in Trade with Wisconsin

AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs today announced that they have agreed to a trade with the Wisconsin Herd for guard Brandon Randolph and Wisconsin's first-round pick in the 2023 NBA G League Draft. In exchange, Austin has traded forward Alize Johnson to the Herd.
Randolph, 6-6/190, appeared in 11 games for the Herd this season, averaging 9.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists in 22.3 minutes of play. In the 2022-23 Showcase Cup, the Yonkers, NY native averaged 10.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists in 25.1 minutes per game. Prior to the Herd, Randolph played in 63 games at the University of Arizona where he averaged 8.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists.
Johnson appeared in 11 games with the Spurs this season, averaging 14.5 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists in 26.9 minutes of play.
