
Wisconsin Herd Acquires Alize Johnson

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, acquired Alize Johnson from the Austin Spurs in exchange for Brandon Randolph and Wisconsin's 1st round pick of the 2023 NBA G League Draft.
Johnson, a 6-8, 212-pound forward was selected as the 50th pick in the 2018 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers. He appeared in 14 games during the 2018-19 season and 17 games during the 2019-20 season with the Pacers while also making a combined 50 appearances over the two seasons with the Pacers' NBA G League affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Johnson went on to join the Raptors 905 during the 2020-21 season before signing with the Brooklyn Nets in March 2021. Last season, Alize spent time with the Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards and the New Orleans Pelicans. Johnson joined the Austin Spurs for the 2022-23 season and received an NBA Call-Up with the San Antonio Spurs in November 2022. Following the Call-Up, he returned to the Austin Spurs and has appeared in 11 regular season games averaging 14.5 points and 10.9 rebounds.
Brandon Randolph spent the last three seasons with the Wisconsin Herd and most recently appeared in 11 regular season games averaging 9.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist.
The Wisconsin Herd will play next against the Greensboro Swarm tonight with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. CST.
