AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs (2-4) were defeated by the Osceola Magic (4-3), 116-123 at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park on Sunday night.
Dominick Barlow led the Spurs with 28 points going 12-on-16 from the field. Paul Watson Jr. tallied 18 points and 6 rebounds. On Assignment from the San Antonio Spurs, Blake Wesley contributed 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assist for Austin.
Osceola took an early lead at the start of the game, 68-65. Barlow and Trevelin Queen both notched 18 first half points. The Magic took the lead in the third by six, 92-86. The final frame featured six lead changes, with Watson Jr. scoring 12 in the period alone but it was Queen's three point shot with 31.7 seconds left and four Magic free throws that sealed Osceola's victory.
Brandon Williams led Osceola with 29 points. Queen claimed a double-double with 28 points and 11 rebounds while Jett Howard and Daeqwon Plowden added 17 points.
