Augusta, GA - The Augusta Lynx losing skid hit a season-high four games this past week with a lone loss Friday night at Charlotte. This marks the first time this season that the Augusta Lynx have lost four regulation games in a row. The Lynx dropped another heartbreaker in Charlotte, a place they have yet to win this season, losing on Friday by a 2-1 score. #21 Bobby Bolt had the lone goal for the Lynx and #30 Bobby Goepfert was strong in goal stopping 27 of 29 shots. The Lynx have not allowed an even strength goal in their last three games. All the goals scored against in that span have been special teams goals or empty-net goals. It is another busy week for the Lynx this upcoming week with four games in five nights.

LYNX FINALLY BACK AT HOME AS $10 TICKET NIGHT RETURNS ON FRIDAY: After three weeks on the road, the Lynx finally return home this weekend for two games against the Pensacola Ice Pilots. To commemorate the season-long Augusta Lynx 10th Anniversary season, the Lynx are pleased to announce the return of another $10 ticket night during their next home game on Friday, February 1st as the Lynx host the Pensacola Ice Pilots at 7:35pm. Every seat in the house is just $10! The night also stars Skip Banks, the human balloon man. Recently voted the #1 solo half-time performer for the NBA, Skip also appears every year at most major colleges and professional sporting events across the United States as intermission entertainment.

PINK IN THE RINK, MILITARY APPRECIATION ON SATURDAY NIGHT: The Lynx are pleased to announced their "Pink in the Rink" Night, this Saturday, February 2nd at 7:05pm at the James Brown Arena against the Penacola Ice Pilots. The first 1,000 fans will receive a FREE t-shirt courtesy of SRP Federal Credit Union, and the first 4,000 will receive a FREE gift from the Lynx as they enter the arena. Pink in the Rink Night will benefit breast cancer awareness and is presented by GLIT Microtron and Doctors Hospital. Saturday is also Military Apprection Night as the Lynx honor local military service men and women.

VEIDEMAN RETURNS TO LINE-UP: Augusta Lynx Head Coach announced last Thursday, that defenseman #25 Adrian Veideman has be re-assigned by the Portland Pirates back to the Augusta Lynx. In five games with the Pirates, Veideman had two points, including being named the #2 star in one of the games. Veideman made his return in the 2-1 loss to Charlotte on Friday.

GOEPFERT STILL LEADING THE WAY: Despite the fact the Lynx haven't won a game in four tries, Lynx goaltender #30 Bobby Goepfert still leads the ECHL in goaltending. Goepfert has allowed only six goals in his last three games, while the Lynx have only scored half that during that time. Goepfert leads the ECHL with a 2.03 goals against average and is 3rd in the ECHL with a 92.9% save percentage. He is also the only goaltender in the ECHL with a perfect shootout percentage.

RADIO HOUR RETURNS THIS WEEK WITH BRIAN YANDLE AND BOBBY BOLT: The Augusta Lynx Radio Hour will return to the air this week on Monday, January 28th from 7:00-8:00pm at Indigo Joe's (3730 Wheeler Rd.) in Augusta. Join the Voice of the Lynx, Alex "Cheeks" Kyrias for the weekly show that discusses all that related to the Augusta Lynx broadcast LIVE on 1630AM WRDW. Guest's for this week's show include Head Coach Bob Ferguson, Lynx defenseman Brian Yandle and Lynx forward Bobby Bolt.

VEIDEMAN, YANDLE PICK UP ASSISTS IN ALL-STAR GAME: Augusta Lynx defensemen Brian Yandle and Adrian Veideman each posted an assist as Yandle and the National Conference beat the Veideman and the American Conference 10-7 in front of 7,455 fans at Stockton Arena this past Wednesday. The Most Valuable Player was Ash Goldie of Victoria, who set an ECHL All-Star Game record with six points. Peter Ferraro of Las Vegas (2g-3a) and Greg Rallo of Idaho (1g-4a) each had five points while Fresno's Igor Gongalsky (0g-2a) and Oren Eizenman (2g-0a) and Utah's Justin Bourne (0g-2a) all had two points.

LEVASSEUR POSTS FIRST CAREER AHL SHUTOUT: Goaltender J.P. Levasseur, who has appeared in the most games of any Lynx goaltender this season, is making the most of his recent call-up to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League. Levasseur picked up his first career AHL shutout with a 21-save performance this past Saturday in a 2-0 win over the Lowell Devils. Since joining the Pirates back in early January, Levasseur has won two of his three starts and posted a miniscule 1.01 goals against average and a 95.4% save percentage.

ECHL ALL-STAR GAME JERSEY AND PUCK AUCTION: The ECHL in association with The MeiGray Group announced that fans will have the opportunity to purchase jerseys and pucks from the 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition. The 7th Annual Game-Worn All-Star Game Jersey Auction is ongoing now through Feb. 6 while the Fifth-Annual All-Star Puck Auction will be through Feb. 12 and the Fifth-Annual Game-Worn Skills Competition Jersey Auction and Game-Used Puck Auction is Feb. 6-20. The jerseys worn by the 21 members of the American Conference and the 21 members of the National Conference during the first period of play on Jan. 23 will be auctioned live during the game simultaneously at Stockton Arena and online at ECHL.com, MeiGray.com and ECHLAuction.at.edeal.com/.
