The Mudcats take on the Red Sox for the final time this season in tonight's series finale at Five County Stadium. Carolina leads the series two games to none and can pick up their seventh sweep of the season with a win tonight. LHP Matt Bywater (0-1, 0.00) starts tonight for Carolina and will makes his first start at home this season. He made his Mudcats debut on 8/14 in Frederick and suffered a tough luck loss after allowing three unearned runs (5ip, 5h, 3r, 0er, 5bb, 8so) in a 3-2 loss to the Keys. Coincidentally, Bywater pitched for the Keys in 2012 and made his Carolina League debut at Five County on 5/4/12 (2ip, 4h, 4r, 3er, 2bb, 3so). He also pitched against the Mudcats in Zebulon on 8/13/12 and suffered his second loss of the 2012 season after allowing six runs on eight hits over 3.1 inn.

Tonight's game begins at 7:00 p.m. at Five County Stadium in Zebulon and will air on the Mudcats Radio Network with the pre game show beginning at 6:45 p.m.
