Tonight's Game: It's the first of a three game series between the Auburn Doubledays and Staten Island Yankees. Last season, Auburn visited Staten Island and went 2-1. The Yankees last came to Falcon Park in 2013 and swept the Doubledays.

Last Night's Game: Auburn dominated at the plate and on the mound in a 13-1 win on the road against Batavia. Jefry Rodriguez threw a season-high six innings and gave up one run on two hits while striking out eight. Auburn scored 13 runs on 14 hits, both of which are season-highs. The Doubledays also had a runner reach scoring position in every inning. The only two innings Auburn did not score in were the fourth and fifth.

Eighth No Longer a Problem: Until last night's win, which was the 19th game of the season, Auburn hadn't scored in the eighth inning the entire season. The Doubledays scored three runs on one hit in the eighth yesterday. However, Auburn has done very well in the ninth, outscoring opponents 18-4.

The Hit-Man: Andrew Stevenson extended his hit streak to a team-high seven last night with a 2-6 performance against the Muckdogs. The outfielder hast hit .484 (15-31) over his last seven games. Stevenson has started in 12 games for Auburn this season and has recorded a hit in 10.
