Daniel Catenacci scored twice and Gemel Smith added three assists, as the Owen Sound Attack dominated in a 6-0 win over the Spitfires in front of 6,136 at the WFCU Centre on Thursday night.

Owen Sound (42-18-1-5) got goals from Codi Ceci (19), Cameron Brace (35) and Catenacci (37) to take a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes, before Daniel Zweep (5), Catenacci (38) and Artur Gavrus (6) doubled the lead to 6-0 after two periods.

Jordan Binnington did the rest, making 28 saves as the Attack fired 46 shots at the tandem of Jordan DeKort (18 saves in 25:44) and Jaroslav Pavelka (22 saves in 34:16).

The Spits dressed just 16 skaters - the 24th straight game they've iced less than the league-maximum 20 - then played most of the night with just 15 after Remy Giftopoulos left the game with an injury.

Windsor (26-32-2-6) was already without regulars Pat Sieloff, Slater Koekkoek, Ben Johnson, Ty Bilcke, Chris Marchese and Jordan McNaughton.

The regular season now wraps up with a home-and-home series with the Plymouth Whalers, this Saturday night in Michigan and Sunday afternoon at the WFCU Centre.
