GAME NOTES

Top Prospects The Mississauga Steelheads may be fighting for their playoff lives in their final game of the 2012-2013 regular season. The Steelheads will look to a trio of NHL drafted defenseman; Stuart Percy (1st RND -Tor), Trevor Carrick (4th RND- Car), and Dylan DeMelo (6th RND-SJ) to try and shut down the 67's . The forwards to keep an eye on for the Steelheads are local Ottawa boy and overager Riley Brace, who leads the team with 71 points, and Josh Burnside who is ranked 92nd by CSS. Steelheads goalie Martin Spencer is also ranked for the upcoming NHL draft. This will be the final time this season that 67's fans will get to see their CSS ranked players; Sean Monahan, Sergey Kuptsov and Jacob Blair.

OHL Announces 2012-13 Eastern Conference Coaches Poll Winners The OHL Coaches Poll provides member club coaches with the opportunity to recognize the top three players in 20 different skill categories within their own conference. The Steelheads were represented in 7 categories with Riley Brace being making the cut 3 times. Alex Cord, Stuart Percy and Dylan DeMelo also made the survey.

The Ottawa 67's placed in 5 categories with Sean Monahan making the top 3 in the East for best playmaker, best stickhandler, best face-off man, and smartest player, while Michael Cajkovsky ranked 2nd in the hardest shot category.

Annual Mortgage Brokers Shootout

On Saturday we will have our annual Mortgage Brokers shootout. One contensant will get the chance to win mortgage payments for 5 years.
