Owen Sound Attack News Release

The Owen Sound Attack will look for their fourth straight win on home ice this evening when Home Depot presents the Attack vs. the Kitchener Rangers, in front of what looks like another standing room only crowd.

The Attack is 1-4 against the Rangers this season with their lone victory coming on home ice on December 17th. All five meetings with the Rangers have been spirited contests, with tempers flaring on several occasions. Daniel Catenacci has torched the Rangers for 6 goals in their five meetings while Andrew Crescenzi has tallied 5 goals for the Rangers.

Saturday, February-25-12: Kitchener @ Owen Sound - The Rangers are coming into the Bayshore on a modest 2 game winning streak after victories over both Guelph and Peterborough. The Rangers sit 3rd in the Western Conference and also boast a very impressive road record of 18-7-1-1.

Look Out For - Ranger Rookie Import Radek Faksa has quietly become one of the top prospects for the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. The Czech forward has put together a fantastic rookie season, tallying 23 goals and 30 assists in 51 games played. He has 3 assists in 3 games played against the Attack this season.

Tickets for this evening's tilt can be purchased by visiting the Attack Box Office in the front lobby of the Bayshore Community Centre. Game time at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre is 7:30pm.
