Attack Host Rangers for Game 4
March 27, 2012 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack is down three games to none in their best of seven Western Conference Quarter Final series against the Kitchener Rangers and will look to avoid elimination on Wednesday evening at home.
The Attack fell down three games to none after a hard fought 4-1 loss on Monday evening in Kitchener and return home to the Bayshore, looking for a spark to get themselves back into the series. Special teams seems to be the difference maker in this series so far with the Rangers powerplay clicking at 27.7% (5/18) and the Attack powerplay sitting at 10% (1/10).
Jake Dotchin leads all Attack skaters with three points (all assists) and a +1 rating while Michael Catenacci's two goals and six assists leads all Ranger scorers. Greg Ireland will have to decide whether he will turn to overage goaltender Scott Stajcer or go back with Jordan Binnington. Despite the deceiving numbers, both Binnington and Stajcer have provided their team a chance to win. The Rangers will no doubt turn to John Gibson and his .957 save percentage.
There are plenty of good seats still available for Wednesday evening's game and they can be purchased by calling the Attack Box Office at (519) 371-7452, online at www.attackhockey.com or by visiting the Attack Box Office in the main lobby of the Bayshore Community Centre.
Game time Wednesday is 7:00pm.
