FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Atlanta United fell 2-1 to Inter Miami CF at DRV PNK Stadium Saturday night. Andrew Gutman scored his first goal of the season in second-half stoppage time as Brooks Lennon collected his fourth assist.
Miami opened the scoring in the 59th minute from a penalty after Machop Chol fouled David Ruiz inside the box. Josef Martínez stepped to the spot and finished to the bottom right corner past Quentin Westberg.
Martínez doubled Miami's lead in the 75th minute, touching the ball past Westberg after Deandre Yedlin played him in behind the backline.
