Inter Miami CF (3W-6L-0D, 9 points) faces Atlanta United FC (5W-2L-3D, 18 points) tonight at DRV PNK Stadium in the first Club theme night of the year. The night's theme for this match will be Black Out! Presented by Publix.

Inter Miami will look to continue to build momentum after a strong week that saw it advance in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and earn a road victory over the Columbus Crew in MLS action in the team's last match.

Recently signed Academy product David Ruiz will start for the First Team for the first time tonight. Ruiz will be part of the starting XI alongside fellow midfielder Benjamin Cremaschi, marking the first time two Homegrown Academy products start together for the Club in its history.

Tonight's meeting against Atlanta United will be the first of two between the sides in the 2023 MLS regular season. The match will mark Josef Martínez's first match against his former club, for which he put together a fruitful stint, including winning Landon Donovan MLS MVP and MLS Cup, among other titles.

The Georgia-based side will enter the match after falling 3-1 on the road against Nashville SC in the team's last match. So far in the 2023 MLS regular season, Atlanta United has recorded five wins, two losses and three draws, with midfielder Thiago Almada leading the the team with five goals and six assists.
