LOS ANGELES - Continuing their 2023 MLS Regular Season campaign, the LA Galaxy play host to the Colorado Rapids at Dignity Health Sports Park tonight, Saturday, May 6 in a match presented by Dignity Health (7:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV; LA Galaxy Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio).
Tonight's match marks the 92nd all-time meeting across all competitions between the LA Galaxy (1-5-3, 6 points) and the Colorado Rapids (1-3-6, 9 points), with LA leading the series 46-33-12. Against the Rapids, the Galaxy hold a 38-31-12 record in league play, a 1-0-0 record in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and a 7-2-0 record in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
In 42 all-time regular-season meetings played at home against Colorado, LA holds a 25-10-6 record. In the last regular-season meeting between the two teams at Dignity Health Sports Park, the Galaxy earned a 4-1 win over the Rapids on Sept. 17, 2022, with Gastón Brugman recording a brace and Javier "Chicharito" Hernández and Raheem Edwards each tallying a goal in the victory against Colorado. The last time Riqui Puig faced Colorado, the midfielder recorded three assists in the victory against the Rapids on Sept. 17, 2022.
