Atlanta Dream News Release
ATLANTA - The Atlanta Dream have announced the franchise will return downtown to play its home games at the new State Farm Arena during the 2019 season.
"I'm thrilled for our organization to have the opportunity to be back in State Farm Arena," Head Coach Nicki Collen said. "The renovations have made it a world class venue and l know our fans are going to be excited to experience all it has to offer. Our objective is to make it the best home court environment in the WNBA and we will need the fans to make that happen."
After playing its last two seasons at McCamish Pavilion on the Georgia Tech campus, the Atlanta Dream will return to the court which it played on from 2008-2016 and reached three WNBA Finals.

"We want to thank Steve Koonin and the Atlanta Hawks for opening the doors to their arena for the Dream," Atlanta Dream President Chris Sienko said. "State Farm Arena will be a great place for us to build on the success of 2018 and provide an incredible product on and off the floor during the 2019 season."
State Farm Arena, formerly Philips Arena and home of the Atlanta Hawks, opened its doors following the completion of the $192.5 million-dollar renovation this past October. The transformed arena features the third-largest center-hung scoreboard in the NBA and most immersive video experience, new sightlines with 360-degree concourses and new seating and first-of-its-kind in-venue entertainment options with Topgolf Swing Suites, the company's first permanent amenity in a major sports arena and Killer Mike's SWAG Shop (a 4-chair barbershop overlooking the court). State Farm Arena will also be the first NBA venue to offer fan-friendly food pricing with 12 popular food and beverage items priced at $5 or less.
Dream Elite members, package buyers and those who have placed 2019 deposits will soon be receiving information regarding ticket renewal options, seat-locations, a pick-your-seat event, themes and more.
The full 2019 Atlanta Dream schedule will be announced in accordance with the WNBA releasing the 2019 schedule at a later time.
