
Atiba Harris and Moises Hernandez Join National Teams for Upcoming World Cup Qualifying Matches

FRISCO, Texas (Tuesday, June 9) - FC Dallas defenders Atiba Harris (St. Kitts and Nevis) and Moises Hernandez (Guatemala) have been called in by their respective nationals teams for upcoming World Cup qualifying matches, FC Dallas announced today.
In its first of two matches against Bermuda, Guatemala will host the Gombey Warriors at Estadio Nacional Mateo Flores on Friday, June 12. The match will begin at 8 p.m. CT. The away leg will be played the following Monday, June 15, in Bermuda's national stadium beginning at 8:30 p.m. CT.
Hernandez has picked up two assists in 945 minutes so far this season. The first assist of his career was a game-winning pass to Blas Perez, which gave FC Dallas a 1-0 win in extra time against the San Jose Earthquakes on March 7, 2015. Hernandez has played the seventh-most minutes for a Homegrown player in MLS this season.
Harris and St. Kitts and Nevis will host El Salvador at Warner Park Football Stadium in Basseterre, St. Kitts on Thursday, June 11. The match is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. CT. The away leg of that series will be played at El Salvador's Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador, El Salvador, on Tuesday, June 16. The match is set to begin at 7 p.m. CT.
The 10-year MLS veteran has started seven games for FC Dallas this season. In those matches, FC Dallas has a record of 4-1-2 with a goals against average of 0.714. The team has also recorded four of its five shutouts in those matches.
