CHICAGO (June 9, 2015) - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Tuesday that Homegrown midfielder Collin Fernandez has been loaned to USL side Louisville City FC. The Fire retain the option to recall Fernandez during the loan period.
"This is a great opportunity for Collin to continue to develop and grow as a player," said Fire Head Coach and Director of Soccer Frank Yallop. "This move keeps him close to home so we can continue to monitor his progress in Louisville as he looks to get meaningful matches under his belt."
The Downers Grove, Ill. native signed a Homegrown contract on Aug. 28, 2014 and was added to the roster in 2015.
