Peterborough Petes News Release
(Peterborough, ON) - Peterborough Petes General Manager Mike Oke announced Friday that defenceman Artem Guryev has been re-assigned to the Lindsay Junior A Muskies.
Guryev, a 6'3", 207lbs 2003-born rear guard, was selected in the 2nd round, 22nd overall by the Petes in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection from the Toronto Minor Midget AAA Marlboros. He has appeared in 6 games with the maroon and white this season, registering 2 assists, 2 penalty minutes, and a +3 plus/minus rating.
"For younger players the opportunity to play in games is crucial to their continued development, and this provides Artem with that opportunity," commented Oke. "He'll be able to stay sharp by getting into games in Lindsay and will remain involved in daily activities with the Petes."
The Petes are on the road this weekend, facing the Sudbury Wolves on Saturday, November 2 at 7:05pm and the North Bay Battalion on Sunday, November 3 at 2:00pm.
Peterborough's next home game is on Tuesday, November 5 at 7:05pm when they host the Kingston Frontenacs. Tickets for all regular season home games are available through the PMC Grant Thornton Box Office in person and over the phone at (705) 743-3561 Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and 24 hours a day online.
