Cutters starter Gustavo Armas tossed seven shutout innings, striking out seven DoubleDays batters, while not allowing a single walk, en route to his 1st win of the season. Right Fielder Danny Mayer connected on his 1st home run of the season, a two-run shot to left-center in the bottom of the 6th inning. It traveled an estimated 413 feet.
Shortstop Jonathan Guzman collected his first two hits of the season, going 2 for 3 with his 1st RBI and run scored of the season.
First Basemen Edwin Rodriguez finished the night 2 for 3 with an RBI. He has collected five hits in seven at bats to go along with a pair of RBI in the series against Auburn.
Randy Alcantara tossed two shutout frames of relief, allowing a base hit, as he was able to close out the game for Williamsport. Alcantara has thrown five shutout innings in two appearances this season.
