North Little Rock, AR - The Arkansas Travelers clinched the 2015 Texas League North second half championship with a 3-2 win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals on Monday.

RHP Albert Suarez (W, 11-9) tossed six innings and allowed a run on three hits with three walks and six strikeouts. Suarez lowered his season ERA to 2.98, the lowest of any qualified Texas League pitcher. Suarez, a two-time All-Star, also finishes the regular season tied for the most wins in the league.

RHP Danny Reynolds worked two scoreless frames following Suarez and LHP Greg Mahle (S, 16) closed out the game in the ninth.

3B Drew Maggi, CF Chad Hinshaw and C Anthony Bemboom each finished with two hits for Arkansas.

The Travs trailed 1-0 in the first, but responded with a run in the bottom of the first and two in the fifth.

Northwest Arkansas plated one in the ninth but stranded the tying run at second base.

Playoff Information:          

Games one and two of the best-of-five series will be played in Springdale, while games three, four (if necessary) and five (if necessary) are home games for the Travs.

The winner of the North Championship will take on the winner of the Corpus Christi vs. Midland South Championship.

Thursday, 9/10 - at Northwest Arkansas (7:05 p.m.)

Friday, 9/11 - vs. Northwest Arkansas (7:10 p.m.)

Saturday, 9/12 (if necessary) - vs. Northwest Arkansas (7:10 p.m.)

Sunday, 9/13 (if necessary) - vs. Northwest Arkansas (2:10 p.m.)

If Arkansas wins the North Championship, this is how the Texas League Championship schedule would shake out:

Tuesday, 9/15 - at South winner

Wednesday, 9/16 - at South winner

Friday, 9/18 - vs. South winner (7:10 p.m.)

Saturday, 9/19 (if necessary) - vs. South winner (2:10 p.m.)

Sunday, 9/20 (if necessary) - vs. South winner (2:10 p.m.)
