
Argos to fulfill Grey Cup promise

Toronto, ON â The 2004 Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts will fulfill a promise on Monday, December 13, Tuesday, December 14 and Friday, December 17 when they share the Grey Cup with more than ten schools in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
All-star defensive back Clifford Ivory and running back John Williams will present the Grey Cup trophy to schools that participated in the Argos' highly successful Anti-Bullying Program. Following sessions that tackled topics including bullying and the effects of bullying, and offered solutions to prevent bullying, several players pledged to the students that they would return one day with the Cup in hand. The Argos will fulfill the promise next week as they visit at least ten schools (with more to be confirmed) in the three-day period.

The 2004 Grey Cup Champion Toronto Argonauts are North America's oldest professional football club, having celebrated their 130th anniversary in 2003. The Toronto Argonauts have 15 Grey Cup championships to their credit. Full roster details are available at www.argonauts.ca.
