(Calgary) â Tomorrow, Friday, December 10th Calgary Stampeders Scott Coe, Mike Juhasz and Garrett Smith will be participating in the QR77 Annual Christmas Pledge Day at the Westin Hotel from 4pm - 5pm.
This annual pledge day is in support of the Calgary Children's Foundation and one that the Stampeder Football Club has been involved with for several years. Players will be reading pledges, introducing live music and talking with long time host Dave Rutherford.
The Calgary Children's Foundation raises funds for non-profit children's societies and organizations. Last season this event raised $132,000 for the Foundation bringing the total to just under one million dollars in just seven years. Those wishing to make a donation can mail a cheque or money order to: Calgary Children's Foundation, P.O. Box 48043, 40 Midlake Blvd S.E., Calgary, AB, T2X 3C7.
